Rootwell started from a simple frustration: getting into gardening or the outdoors meant piecing together a dozen small purchases, hoping you had chosen the right ones. We thought it should be one good decision, not twelve small guesses.

So we build kits around what you are actually doing. Planting a balcony, starting a veg bed, packing for a park afternoon, heading out to camp — pick the scene and the box arrives complete, with sensible tools, clear care notes, and nothing you will not use.

Today the range covers 17 scene-based kits across two lines — Garden hand tools and Outdoor gear — plus a handful of single tools to fill a gap. Every item is chosen to be genuinely useful for someone starting out, and every kit is brand-free and low-risk.

What we do — and don't — sell

We sell physical garden hand tools and outdoor, camping and picnic gear. We do not sell seeds, seedlings, live plants, soil, fertiliser or pesticides, and we make no claims about plant survival or yield. We do not sell ladders, scaffolding or fall-protection equipment, and we do not sell flames, fuel or gas canisters. Rootwell has no financial, investment or property products of any kind.
